Bicycle Repair Pickup & Drop-Off

• How to initiate a Pickup & Drop-Off Service 
  Click on a "Request a Pickup" link to complete a form or call (619) 237-1245 to initiate a pickup service.
• Temporary Work Order and scheduling 
  The bike shop staff will then call you to set up a pickup appointment. Appointments are normally set up within a 2-hour window of time Mon - Fri 9 am-5 pm
• What should take place at pick up 
  Please, be ready for a quick transaction, and for your own record take some photo images as to the condition of the units at pickup. If applicable, provide the staff with lock/wheel/battery Keys, battery chargers or part/accessories that accompany the unit/s. Make sure, the staff who is picking up the unit/s, carefully itemizes and records all attachments to the bike. Staff should hand you a HARDCOPY of temporary Work Order verifying receiving your unit/s.
• What takes place after we have your unit(s) 
  San Diego Bike Shop technicians will examine and add all potential parts, accessories, services, and labor fees for completing the needed services to Work Order. The Work Order is then emailed to you for authorization. You may then call in to add, remove services/parts. When you are fully satisfied with the final list of services simply reply a “YES”, effectively authorizing the service/s. subsequent to your approval your unit/s enter a service queue*.
• What will take place after completion of the work order 
  The bike shop staff will call to process payments over the phone. Over the phone payments are subject to verification of both ID and credit card at delivery. Payments may also be made at the time of delivery. The bike shop staff will then set up an appointment for delivery. Deliveries are normally within a two-hour window of time Mon -Fri 10 am – 6 pm**
• What should take place at delivery 
  The customer should examine the unit/s carefully and when salified acknowledge the receipt of his unit/s by signing a receipt.

*Note: Sometimes during repairs/services we discover some hidden issues that cannot be diagnosed before actually working on the unit/s. In such cases additional parts and applicable fees will be added and emailed to you for authorization.

** Subject to staff availability a Sat/Sun delivery may be arranged with the application of additional fee
